Día de Los Muertos is a holiday that celebrates those that have passed. It is believed that our loved ones return to visit us during this celebration. Veterinary medicine deals with a lot of death and we hope that the presence of an Ofrenda brings some celebration and light to an otherwise difficult part of our profession. We invite all of the Tufts community to bring pictures of their pets that have passed to be placed on the Ofrenda in Elms as a way to celebrate their lives as well as participate in the beautiful holiday.
