About this Event
The American Veterinary Medical Foundation is pleased to start off the new year with the launch of the Harold Wetterberg Foundation Scholarship program, which provides scholarships to 2nd and 3rd year veterinary students who have a strong connection to the state of New Jersey. As part of the application, students must submit proof they were born in New Jersey, went to school in New Jersey, or have any other connection to the state. Attending a New Jersey college as the single connection to New Jersey is not enough to be considered.
Scholarships up to $15,000 may be awarded, with preference given to students pursuing a dual-degree. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher in both undergraduate school and veterinary school in order to be eligible.
The link to the application on the student portal can be found here (Harold Wetterberg Foundation Scholarship) from now until March 15th. Applications must be submitted through the AVMF student scholarship portal no later than 12:00 Midnight, Central Time on March 15.
