My research focuses on infectious diseases in wildlife, particularly in virology and the epidemiology of zoonotic diseases among neotropical primates. I have conducted extensive fieldwork across biological stations in Peru and led projects within protected natural areas. Additionally, I completed internships and trainings at the University of São Paulo in Brazil and Cornell University in the US. Currently, I am an associate researcher at the Alexander von Humboldt Institute of Tropical Medicine in Peru, and I am a Ph.D. student in Infectious Disease and Global Health at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine."
