This week is International Laboratory Animal Technicians week, sponsored by the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS) and peer organizations around the world. Tufts is a proud member of AALAS, which is devoted to education and research in the humane care and use of animals to advance human and animal health. Laboratory animal technicians may earn certification through experience and study and many of our staff have proudly earned this widely recognized credential. Please join in thanking our dedicated LAMS and Farm staff who provide skilled and compassionate care for our animals and support Cummings research and teaching 7 days a week in good weather and bad.
