Join Dean Cribb in showing appreciation to our interns and residents for House Officer Appreciaiton Week. 

Modeled after human medicine's House Officer Appreciation Day, our house officers will enjoy a week of lunches, snacks, a chance to win some great prizes during a raffle, and continental breakfast with Dean Cribb. 

From Dean Cribb:

Next week, for the first time, we will be hosting House Officer Appreciation Week. We welcome house officers from across North America and beyond to our school for one to three years. They bring their unique knowledge and perspective to our community and help to make it a better place. While they are here to learn and start the path to becoming experts in their chosen field, they contribute in a huge way to our clinical, teaching, and research mission. They work long hours and are critical in providing care for the thousands of patients that come to us for care. They help to teach our DVM students, especially in the clinical year, and engage in research projects to help advance clinical medicine.

We have arranged a series of events to thank them. If you have a House Officer on your service or in your clinic, please try to facilitate their participation in some of the events next week. And if you get a chance, Hug a House Officer (don’t forget to ask them first!) to thank them for all they do.
