MS in Animals and Public Policy (MAPP) Information Session with Dr. Megan Mueller

Are you passionate about animals? Curious about a graduate degree that will help you improve the lives of animals and people? Join us for a live session with Dr. Megan Mueller to learn about the program as well as her areas of expertise.

The MS in Animals and Public Policy (MAPP) program is an intensive, 12-to-16-month graduate degree program that focuses on human-animal relationships and their implications for policy and community action. While students enter the program with different interests, skills, philosophies, and aspirations, all share a passion for understanding human-animal relationships and promoting the status of animals in society.

Dr. Mueller is a developmental scientist who studies the complex and dynamic relationships between people and animals. She received a B.A. in psychology and child development and M.A. and Ph.D. in child study and human development from Tufts University. Dr. Mueller leads the Pets and Well-Being Lab. Her research and teaching focus on understanding human-animal interaction across the lifespan using multiple methods. She is a Senior Fellow at Tisch College, and she teaches in the M.S. in Animals and Public Policy program at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. Full bio here.
