The Westie Foundation of America is pleased to offer two Westie Foundation of America Scholarships in 2024 in the amount of $5,000 each to qualified veterinary school students.

Deadline to apply is December 31, 2023.

Scholarship criteria:

• 3rd or 4th year student in good standing
• Demonstrates good moral character and participates in community service
• Provide current CV
• Provide 2 letters of recommendation from professors with whom you worked with
• Preferably shows an interest in purebred dogs, especially terriers, and an interest in ongoing research for them
• Will submit a short essay, 500 words or less, describing their vision and goals for their veterinary career
